Obed Artur Junior’s move to NK Zvijezda Gradačac was a strategic signing, aligned with both the player’s development and the club’s competitive ambitions.

At the time of his arrival, NK Zvijezda Gradačac was leading the league table and pushing strongly for promotion. The club was looking to strengthen key areas with players who could deliver immediate impact while maintaining long-term value.

Obed fit this profile perfectly.

He quickly integrated into the squad and became a regular starter, featuring in 14 out of 15 matches in the first half of the season, playing a vital role in the team’s promotion campaign.

 Obed Artur Junior began his football journey at PAC Academy in Ghana, where he developed his technical foundation, pace, and attacking instincts. His performances earned him opportunities in European football at a competitive professional level. During the 2023–24 season, Obed featured for FK Kozara Gradiska in the Prva Liga of Bosnia and Herzegovina, gaining valuable experience in a demanding and physical league environment.  Following the 2023–24 season, Obed faced an injury setback that temporarily slowed his momentum. During this period, the focus was placed on full recovery, conditioning, and long-term career planning, ensuring he returned to the pitch stronger and more prepared.  

Primarily a right winger, Obed combines pace, direct attacking play, and high work rate. His tactical intelligence and athleticism also allow him to operate effectively in multiple positions, including left back, making him a valuable and flexible option for coaches.  Obed’s consistent performances have attracted interest from clubs in Croatia, reflecting his growing reputation in the regional market. He has also received an official invitation for a trial with NK Sesvete, a Croatian Second Division club — an important milestone in his continued progression.
